Not only have you got the opportunity of seeing the whole band on Friday night at the Spice of Life (more on the gigs page or below) but Wulf is also making a guest appearance at Anda De Bridge, an event mixing DJs and beats with live music:

Our next outing at London's The Spice of Life is coming up on Friday 4 July, where we're heading the bill, supported by Oxfordshire band Chamfer.

You can now pick up your online flyer, letting you in for £5 rather than £6. Chamfer are due on at 8pm and we hit the stage at 9pm - based on our last gig at the Spice, it's a good idea to turn up early... better to be chilling inside than queuing outside ;-)

For those of you who thought that Jason Miller was the sexiest thing about the 'jones, I've got some bad news - he's decided to step out of our spotlight for the time being to concentrate on his studies and other projects. Good luck to you Jason and thanks for your contributions in developing the band over the past year.

For the moment, we're going to work with Kat and Dee on the vocals (sorry, hopefuls - no auditions just yet). That's going to put a slightly different twist on the way we approach our songs, so the good news is that Lovesjones will still be continuing to serve up the freshest of fresh music.

As an added bonus, we've now got a picture of Dee added to the band page and will hopefully have her bio up soon (otherwise the Bradmeister's gonna write it!)

We came, we saw, and we got funky - visitors to Jazz After Dark last night got double helpings of groovy urban jazz and soul as well as a mellow dessert of Steve Lawson's solo bass mastery (no, that wasn't a hump-back whale... it was a six string fretless bass ;-)

The next outing for the 'jones is Friday 4 July. That's going to give you an hour and a half of loving goodness for £5 (with flyer - watch this space for details of when they're available) with two supporting bands thrown in for good measure.

The gig on Friday at Jazz After Dark should be interesting - we're missing Will and Deanne but have guest artist Steve Lawson coming to help fill out the sound.

Steve is going to join us for the second set and then finish the evening with some of his solo bass work. That's the spirit of the 'jones - keeping it fresh for you!
