If you were planning to see us at Jazz After Dark this Friday, don't - we've pulled out of that gig and are focusing our energies on preparing another heads up set for The Spice of Life on Friday 1 August. That's not to say that you shouldn't go to Jazz After Dark this Friday but you won't get Lovesjones providing the music... however, if you can hold out another week, it will be well worth the wait (polish those dancing shoes!!)

We've given ourselves a couple of weeks off rehearsing to chill and assimilate what we've been learning - and also getting ready to send the esteemed Kofi flying off to Brazil for six months! However, we're back on 25 July at Jazz After Dark and 1 August at The Spice of Life. You can also catch some members of the 'jones joining the fun at Anda De Bridge on 17 July, 31 July and 14 August. That's dates for your diaries...

Last night's gig at the Spice was great fun! One hour and forty minutes of Lovesjones grooves, which got the crowd on it's feet for a bit of bopping around... a good time was had by all. We're back there on Friday 1 August for a repeat performance, so mark it in your diaries (or catch us at Jazz After Dark on Friday 25 July).

Kudos also to the opening act, Chamfer, who played some tasty original material with an Eastern twist.
