Welcome

The Elusive Teeth are a London-based acoustic progressive guitar group playing original music.

Ruskin House... Tonight!: Sunday, October 26, 2008
Tonight is a special gig - the 'Teeth's penultimate performance with Wulf taking care of the low end. We've not done many gigs in recent months since Dave moved out of London and had to step down from the band and we've been teaching Amanda and Joe, our new vocalists the songs. They proved their worth at the gigs we did back in August - at Carshalton Environmental Fair and also at Ruskin House in Croydon where we will be playing tonight.

Wulf is now also moving out of London and therefore moving on and auditions have been set up to see some new musicians to fill his place. Tonight will be one of the last performances with the current line-up, with just a farewell event to follow. Times change... but the 'Teeth go on.

Details of the gig are on the gigs page.

Carshalton Environmental Fair: Wednesday, August 20, 2008
Just a quick note to say that the band are playing at Carshalton Environmental Fair (Carshalton Park, South London) on the afternoon of Bank Holiday Monday. This will be our first gig with the full new line-up (after a successful debut for Joe and Amanda, backed by Wulf and Peter at Ruskin House last Sunday).

Come and find us, from about 4:20 - 5:15pm in the Music Cafe.

Still Going: Wednesday, July 30, 2008
Updates have been a bit sparse on this site. We still haven't finished polishing the recording we were working on back in May, our web domain needs checking, we haven't gigged since the end of May, the gigs page is out of date and Dave, our singer and rhythm guitarist has relocated away from London so has had to step down from the band.

The band is still going though. We've been auditioning for new members and now have two excellent singers, one of whom also plays guitar. We have been working on teaching them our songs and are planning a couple of performances in August to cement the new phase of the band's life.

So, watch this space.

In the Studio: Monday, May 19, 2008
The 'Teeth have been in the studio this weekend at Orange and Blue in Catford. Unfortunately they will soon be relocating down to the Medway area but, meanwhile, we are getting some good results.

Watch this space!

Milking the Butterchurn: Tuesday, April 15, 2008
Sunday evening's gig at the Butterchurn went well, supported by Stefan and also Simon and Leroy with a low-down delta blues set.

In fact, it looks like it might turn into a regular event, with Sunday 25 May being a possibility for our return. Meanwhile though, we have a more acoustic gig, as part of the Croydon Folk and Blues Club this coming Sunday evening.

As always, details are on the gigs page.
