Loud but Fun: Friday, March 09, 2007
Last Friday we did a debut gig at Mama K's in Croydon. It is a weekly jam club that meets in a hall that is part of the Ruskin House complex where we often perform at the Sunday evening Folk and Blues club. The format of the evening is an open jam session with different band combinations doing a couple of songs each, followed by a spotlight band to finish the show.
It was, without a doubt, the loudest gig we have ever done but, although it sounded a bit messy from the stage the recording confirmed that it was still pretty well together.
We're back that way at the start of April, at a charity gig on the evening of Sunday 1 April - Strings for Cuba; more on that nearer the time.

Review: Monday, February 26, 2007
Not only were the FaB club kind enough to host us yesterday afternoon but they have also written a glowing review!

Yesterday's gig was great fun - we even had a stage to perform on and (intensely hot!) lights to perform under. Hopefully there will be some photos soon.
Next up, we're performing at Mama K's in Croydon on Friday evening.

FaB... The Elusive Teeth are Go!: Thursday, February 22, 2007
Our French friend, Claudine, who we met at Croydon Folk and Blues Club a few months ago, has invited us to come over and play at The FaB Club that she runs over in Essex. It is a short notice gig as we are filling in for another band who can't make it but it promises to be fun, not least because it is a little way outside of our regular catchment area and so we will be sure to meet a bunch of new people.
It is an afternoon event, starting at 3pm, and entry is free. The 'Teeth will be playing a couple of sets and there will also be an open mic time.
Details, as always, over on the gigs page (where you will also find news of our debut at Mama K's in Croydon on 2 March and another possible gig lined up for early April).
