Deep to Deep June 2001 happened on Saturday 23rd June 2001 in Lewisham. Below is a line up the people who came along:

We had lunch sometime after one o'clock, and actually got going on a bit of playing not too long after two. We took things at a fairly easy pace... and ended up finishing at about 7:30pm.

Various topics were discussed. I took some people throught the kind of tricks you can do with a looping device (like my Line 6 DL-4 Delay Modeller) while the rest of the boys explored how to get different sounds without using effects (I think the consensus was use a different bass ... ;-). Later on, we listened to a few tracks with notable bass lines, and I did a short seminar on slap bass technique.
I might post details of the kind of things we covered in the near future, if there's some interest in seeing them. I've also got a whole stack of pictures to be run through the GIMP and presented. Meanwhile, here's a nice bass to keep you happy (one of the first fruits of Tim and Kevin's Synergy bass project).
