... and the official Brent Falconer homepage. So, what can I tell you about Brent Falconer?
Well, he's a writer, primarily of fantasy and SF stories, though he has been known to dabble in non-fiction. He was born in SE England in the summer of 1999, and is surprisingly mature for his age. You won't have heard of him, as his only published works thus far have been in fanzines and now-defunct magazines devoted to Roleplaying Games (RPGs), which have been a passion of his since his school days. Publications such as Future Publishing's 'Arcane', and the independant Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (WFRP) magazine 'Warpstone'.
He was a victim of the Dungeons & Dragons craze of the early 80s (though his interests stretched to other games such as MERP, WFRP, MSH, GH, GURPS, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu, Dragon Warriors, Paranoia and Toon) and he's been addicted to sf and fantasy ever since.
He's also written a novel in the comic-fantasy style, entitled 'The Dragon Who Couldn't Be Trusted, or Don't Mock the Gamesmaster - A Fantasy Trilogy of Insignificant Proportions'. It's also about RPGs, and you won't have heard of it either, as it currently resides in a folder under his desk, and is rather shy (a condition brought on by multiple rejections from heartless publishers).
At present working on a number of ideas, because he finds it much easier to start things than to finish them, Brent Falconer is a busy man. Here at The Worlds of Brent Falconer you'll find samples of his work that aren't available elsewhere - including short stories, RPG articles and ready to run adventures, extracts from his novels and work in progress, and (coming soon) exclusive previews of his planned sitcom and near future sf thriller. Watch this space.
Having spent most of the 80's watching too much TV, cultivating a notable mullet, and listening to inane pop music, Brent Falconer has a mind that is overflowing with useless knowledge. Both a cat and a dog person, he is also a chronic Star Trek and Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, endeavours to read at least a book a week (mostly sf and fantasy, but he also enjoys Raymond Chandler, rock biographies, and Bill Bryson), is trying to hold down two other (paying) jobs, and likes cheese (though it doesn't like him).
Brent Falconer does not exist.
