Past e:vents

There have been six e:vents so far:

  • Sunday 21 January 2007: Flashing lights and loud music provided a perfect backdrop for our speaker, who talked about life and the Bible and was throwing out free chocolates like there was no tomorrow! (St Mary's, Bexley)
  • Sunday 19 November 2006: I Love it When a Plan Doesn't Come Together. With a special appearance from the a-Team (like the A-Team but a bit younger!) we looked at why it's not the end of the world if our plans don't seem to be working out because God has got bigger, better plans. (Dartford Baptist Church)
  • Sunday 17 September 2006: The Pilgrim Challenge. Magnus Forrester-Barker shared about why he flew to Spain to walk 100 miles along the Camino de Santiago this summer, as well as a pilgrim challenge game. (St Mary's, Bexley)
  • Sunday 16 July 2006: Mission for all. Roger Gadsden from London City Mission talked about opportunities for sharing why knowing Jesus makes a difference. (St Mary's, Bexley)
  • Sunday 21 May 2006: Creation is awesome. From microscopic details to the galaxies in space, God's handiwork can be seen... but what about the things that cut us off from God? (St Mary's, Bexley)
  • Sunday 19 March 2006: Prayer is talking with God. We're coming from different places, some easy and some difficult, but God is ready to listen to every one. (Dartford Baptist Church)
  • Sunday 12 February 2006: We looked at Gideon - way back in the Bible but plenty of relevance for today. (Dartford Baptist Church)

The next e:vent is planned for March 2007.
