Chickengate

Chickengate

No — nothing scandalous about our feathered friends! Simply that we did some more work on their accommodation yesterday morning, moving the coop further onto the concrete slab in the back garden (dirt is fine but recent weather has been starting to see some of it get very muddy) and adding a better gate to the enclosure. We reused an child safety gate that was partly broken; not safe for children any more but good for animals (no opposable thumbs, you see!).

I'm looking forward to going down in a bit and letting myself in through the gate to let them out rather than having to fiddle with moving the end of the fence, which was wired up to their coop door. It should be be an easier operation than it was.
