The Willow

I've been on all week about performing at Catweazle, which meets on Thursdays in the East Oxford Community Centre (where Princes Street meets Cowley Road). That's now been and gone and it was a great night - there was a high standard and some excellent performances.

Above you can see video evidence of one of the songs Pete and I played as "Peter and the Wulf", a folk tune called The Willow. Dave Seck was also down there so we performed a couple of Djinn tracks. I think I sounded a bit ropey trying to make Ghost work on the electric upright bass but New Year Blues was perfect for the sound of it and flowed smoothly from my fingers.

The next outing for "Peter and the Wulf" is due on 5 July, when we will be appearing at the Carnival in the Park event on the "Up in the Trees" folk stage.
