Did you miss me?

I think last week's blog fast was a very worthwhile idea. While life already seems to be back to firing on all cylinders, the extra space to rest and relax over Christmas was very welcome. I definitely expect to use that idea again.

I am back for now though and have plenty of ideas - another bottle of wine to write up, stacks of photographs to work through (including picking my single favourite from the whole of 2007) and all that reflecting back and looking forward stuff that bloggers tend to do round the New Year period. I also have a brand new blog project called Walking Hither Green, inspired by Rob's Walking the Streets of Forest Hill, that should see me pounding every pavement in my local area and interacting both with local bloggers and neighbours who are determinedly offline.

This morning though, I must stop my blogging and finish preparing - we're off to RHS Wisley this morning to let my mother-in-law try out the RHS membership she got for Christmas and for me to take yet more photographs that I then need to find time to sort, file and share.
