Paper Serenity

DVD cover

I was tired last night after driving back home from a trip to Lincoln so Jane and I sat and watched an episode of Firefly. What an excellent set of programmes! Something like the recently revitalised Doctor Who, while sometimes entertaining in its way, pales in comparison on every count. I still can't understand why the series didn't become a hit (or, indeed, why programs like Doctor Who don't pick up some of the same production values... perhaps they're after a hit rather than mere excellence).

It also reminded me of something I came across on the web recently - an amazing scale model made out of paper of Serenity, which is the name of the ship flown by the story's protagonists (the site is in Spanish but it's mainly pictures - if you wish you can have it in English instead).
